Data Handling Policy

This Data Handling Policy outlines how ScoopLabs Tech securely manages user data within Little Bedtime Stories.

1. Data Encryption: All data, including account credentials and voice recordings, is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL and encrypted at rest on our secure servers.

2. Data Deletion: You have the right to be forgotten. You can permanently delete your account directly from the app's settings menu or by emailing our support team. Upon deletion, all your personal data, including voice recordings, will be permanently purged from our active databases within 30 days.

3. Access Control: Access to our backend infrastructure is strictly limited to authorized engineering personnel at ScoopLabs Tech. We utilize multi-factor authentication and role-based access control.

4. Data Location: Our primary databases are hosted on secure, compliant cloud infrastructure (such as AWS/Supabase). Data may be stored in regions closest to our user base for performance reasons.

5. Incident Response: In the unlikely event of a data breach, we have an incident response plan in place to immediately secure our systems and notify affected users in accordance with applicable laws.
